Emails going to spam in recipient mailbox

Hi, many of my sent emails are ending up in the recipient's spam mailbox. I have been advised by Google to add G Suite SPF and DKIM records to my domain. Please advise whether this is something I go ahead and do, or whether there is some action that you need to do, or have done.

Also, when sending an attachment, the body of my email is blank and the content of the email arrives as an attached html file. can you advise what to do about this.

    Email is via Google and we cannot assist with this. All appropriate records
    have been added already.

    Thanks for the response.

    What I want to know from you is do I need to add the SPF and DKIM to the domain as they suggest or is that one of the things you have done already when you say "all appropriate records have been added already"?
